Your role as a BI Specialist

As an Oracle Developer (PL/SQL) you are responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining high-quality database solutions. You will work closely with other developers, database administrators and stakeholders to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

Your responsibilities:

  • Design and implement complex PL/SQL procedures, functions and triggers.

  • Developing database solutions using Oracle Database 19c.

  • Optimize SQL queries for maximum efficiency and performance.

  • Ensure data integrity and security within the Oracle Database.

  • Maintain PL/SQL codebase and ensure compliance with development standards.

  • Actively participate in identifying and solving technical problems.

  • Collaborate with the development team to integrate database functionalities into applications.

  • Experience with Oracle APEX (Application Express) and Oracle REST Data Services (ORDS). 

What you bring:

  • At least a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

  • Demonstrable experience as an Oracle Developer, with a specialisation in PL/SQL, and at least 5 years of relevant work experience.

  • In-depth knowledge of Oracle Database and PL/SQL programming.

  • Experience in optimising SQL queries and managing database performance.

  • Good understanding of database design and normalisation principles.

  • Experience with Oracle APEX (Application Express) and Oracle REST Data Services (ORDS) is a strong advantage.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English and the ability to work effectively in a team.
